Can I transfer my unclaimed Australian super to my New Zealand KiwiSaver provider?
Can I transfer my unclaimed Australian super to my New Zealand KiwiSaver provider?

We participate in the Trans-Tasman Savings portability arrangement so you can transfer your unclaimed superannuation from Australia.

Updated over a week ago

As long as youโ€™re eligible, and are a member of the Fisher Funds KiwiSaver Scheme, Fisher Funds TWO KiwiSaver Scheme or Fisher Funds KiwiSaver Plan, you can now apply to transfer any unclaimed superannuation money from the Australian Tax Office (ATO) to your KiwiSaver account.

To qualify you must:

  • Have an active KiwiSaver account

  • Be a New Zealand resident or citizen

How to apply for your super to be transferred

Visit the Australian Tax Office (ATO) website to learn more and check you meet the requirements.

Complete the Application for transfer of ATI-held USM to New Zealand form and send to the ATO at the address on the form. The ATO will process applications twice a year (currently, this is set for February and August each year).

Once we receive your information from the ATO weโ€™ll confirm whether you have an active KiwiSaver account with us, and as long as you meet the requirements, the transfer of your unclaimed super will be processed.
