There are generally two key times when you can access your KiwiSaver savings – when you reach the retirement age of 65, or when you are buying your first home. There are also some other situations when you may be able to withdraw some, or all, of your investment early. The table below explains some of the withdrawal options and what you can withdraw.

You can also access your savings where any Act or court order requires a withdrawal.
