When can I make a KiwiSaver retirement withdrawal?

You can withdraw your KiwiSaver money for retirement once you reach 65.

Updated over 2 months ago

When you reach 65 you can access the money in your KiwiSaver account, but you don’t need to withdraw it all. You can make regular and lump sum withdrawals as and when you need to, and your account can continue to work for you long after you retire.

What you need to do:

  • Fill in the appropriate application form

  • Email a scanned copy to [email protected], return it to our offices in Takapuna, or return via post
