When you set up or change your password, we’ll let you know if your password doesn't meet the criteria for password length or variation of characters. Here’s the full list of criteria that any password must meet:
Minimum length — 8 characters
Maximum length — 25 characters
Must have at least 1 lower case character
Must have at least 1 upper case character
Must have at least 1 numeric character
Special characters are allowed, but not required
Password must differ by at least 2 characters from the previous password
Common insecure passwords such as “password” or “qwerty” etc are not allowed
Must not have been used as one of the previous 13 passwords
Must not contain phone numbers
Must not contain the username
