How to reset Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

What to do if your Multi-Factor Authentication isn’t working.

If your verification code isn’t working

Your code may have expired or been entered incorrectly. Try entering a new code.

  • If using an authenticator app, open your app and copy the latest code.

  • If using SMS text message, select Resend code to receive a new code.

Use your MFA Recovery Code

If you no longer have access to your authenticator app or phone, you can use the recovery code provided to you when you set up MFA.

  1. Select Use another authentication method

  2. Select Use your recovery code

  3. Enter your recovery code

Your recovery code can only be used once. After logging in, you’ll receive a new recovery code.
